"Postherpetic neuralgia is a nerve pain due to damage caused by the varicella zoster virus. Typically, the neuralgia is confined to a dermatomic area of the skin and follows an outbreak ofherpes zoster (commonly known as shingles) in that same dermatomic area. The neuralgia typically begins when the herpes zoster vesicles have crusted over and begun to heal, but it can begin in the absence of herpes zoster, in which case zoster sine herpete is presumed.."

ye, sekarang aku tengah struggling dengan postherpetic neuralgia selepas 2 minggu kena Herpes Zoster..

secara luarannya, nampak semua dah sembuh.. no more rashes or blister... tapi hakikatnya penangan nerve pain ( sakit yang tak nampak ini lagi menyeksakan).. lagi-lagi bila di muka, urat saraf di mata + gigi memang terbaiklah penangan dia.. memang hari-hari tidur tak lena..

huhu... kalau terpaksa bertahan untuk tempoh recovery berbulan-bulan, takpe, tapi kalau seumur hidup? Nauzubillah, minta dijauhkan..

In the United States each year approximately 1,000,000 individuals develop herpes zoster. Of those individuals approximately 10-18% develop postherpetic neuralgia.

tengok? aku adalah insan bertuah yang kena menghadapi secebis ujian daripada ALLAH

memandangkan aku tengah preggy, doc tak boleh bagi ubat sebarangan.. aku hanya 

bergantung pada PCM walaupun pada hakikatnya telan PCM pun tak jadi apa..

huhu...

 bila sakit menyerang, rasa nak hantuk je kepala kat dinding...  

sila abaikan aku bila tengok aku muka berkerut & kadang-kala masam tak bertegur sapa..aku 

tengah struggling nak adapt dengan persekitaran sakit ini yang mengambil masa untuk pulih..
