Herpes Zoster secara saintifik nama diberi, kalau mak cik-makcik kat kampung panggil kayap gitu..

kalau borak-borak dengan orang sains, mesti salah faham dengan Herpes Simplex.. ciettt, nama subfamily je sama tapi ni lain..

ada orang kena kat badan, kat lengan, half of body..

Herpes zoster (or simply zoster), commonly known as shingles and also known as zona, is a viral disease characterized by a painfulskin rash with blisters in a limited area on one side of the body (left or right), often in a stripe. The initial infection with varicella zoster virus (VZV) causes the acute, short-lived illness chickenpox which generally occurs in children and young adults. Once an episode of chickenpox has resolved, the virus is not eliminated from the body and can go on to cause herpes zoster often many years after the initial infection. Herpes zoster is not the same disease as herpes simplex, despite the name similarity; both the varicella zoster virus andherpes simplex virus belong to the same viral subfamily Alphaherpesvirinae.

memang painful.. huhu.. lagi-lagi kat muka termasuk mulut penuh dengan ulcer, lubang hidung, mata jadi senak, kulit kepala sakit-tak-leh-syampu, gigi sakit sebab virus ni serang nerve kan.. bak kata orang mandi tak basah, makan tak selera, tidur tak lena..

sapa-sapa dah kena chicken pox kebarangkalian nak kena Herpes Zoster ini memang ada..

huhu.. aku dulu kena chicken pox masa darjah 6.. which is 14 tahun dulu..hoho

dan ni yang aku kena, masa ni baru hari ketiga.. masa ni baru nak merebak ke seluruh belah kiri muka..

paling klimaks rasanya hari kelima bila muka sebelah kiri membengkak- senget..

huhu..

Alhamdulillah, kena benda ni masa trimester kedua.. so, takla membimbangkan..

masuk minggu kedua, bengkak dah surut, tinggal sakit + pedih saja.. dan of course keadaan muka pun teruk juga..* kena minta belanja facial treatment selepas ni dengan en asben..haha*

sekarang bergantung hidup pada aciclovir (antiviral) dan paracetamol.. doc cakap akan berlanjutan sampai 2 minggu..

secara medicalnya makan ubat, secara kampungnya minum air tawar + lumur daun cekur manis+beras+bedak sejuk untuk mengurangkan rasa bahang pada muka..

daun cekur ni tumbuk halus campur dengan beras dan bedak sejuk..

INSYALLAH, dapat tidur pada waktu malam walaupun tak lena mana pun..

nenek aku cakap aku ni banyak sangat sakitnya..

aku cakap tak pe lah, dari se simple-simple penyakit kena,sampai kena belah perut, tanda Allah ingat kat kita, kita pun ingat kat Allah selalu..

harap minggu ni dapat recovery terus.. minggu depan kena hadap 2 TCA lagi..
